ORGANIC / VEGAN
A serious Bordeaux in playful disguise. Full-bodied, full of deep aromas of ripe blackcurrant, plum, and cherry, alongside notes of tobacco and cedar. On the palate, it’s rich and velvety, with smooth tannins and well-integrated acidity that lead to a long, satisfying finish. It’s dry, bold, and structured; a perfect balance of contemporary winemaking and classic Bordeaux elegance.
From single-plot grapes, crafted with a minimal intervention approach, and aged in barrel for 23 months.
Chateau Picoron is owned by an Australian family who has converted the vineyard and wine-making practices to organic. The Kalyk family is on a mission to produce hand-made wines which are both high quality and great value, expressing the true heritage of the Bordeaux region and its traditional grape varieties.
